Airtel has introduced Airtel Secure Workforce, the firm’s inaugural fully-managed and integrated Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) cybersecurity platform customised for organisations operating hybrid workforce models. The solution is engineered to safeguard users, information, and endpoints continuously, across all environments, while supporting adherence to Digital Personal Data Protection Act requirements. Airtel states the offering is developed to counter the increasing magnitude and complexity of AI-driven cyber threats. Supported by Airtel’s nationwide network infrastructure and reinforced through 24x7 managed service capabilities, Secure Workforce eliminates the operational strain of developing and maintaining internal security frameworks. Businesses may achieve nearly 30% optimisation in cybersecurity expenditure.
The solution protects endpoints spanning users, devices, networks, applications, and enterprise data, delivering audit-ready OGS, data transfer governance, and organised incident response workflows. A consolidated dashboard delivers a unified perspective across networks, endpoints, and users, enabling enterprises to secure staff across email, web access, applications, and connected devices.
It additionally provides monitoring into unauthorised cloud and AI-based applications.
Designed around a ZTA framework, the platform tackles issues including excessive tool dependency, alert exhaustion, and cybersecurity skill shortages. By substituting fragmented, multi-vendor ecosystems with a centralised platform, Airtel Secure Workforce enhances endpoint detection and response capabilities while protecting remote connectivity at every interaction point.
Sharat Sinha, CEO of Airtel Business, stated: “Organisations today face escalating pressure to defend end users and devices against continuously-evolving, targeted, AI-enabled attacks. Airtel Secure Workforce delivers comprehensive protection that merges connectivity and managed cybersecurity supported by continuous 24x7 expert oversight.”
As part of the rollout, Airtel has also launched the Secure Workforce Centre of Excellence, an interactive environment hosted on Airtel Cloud where enterprises can evaluate the platform prior to broader deployment.
